I visited the Maine State House in Augusta and toured the mall. I hiked the outer loop at Viles Arboretum. I spent time hiking around the Vaughan Woods Trail and taking photographs of the waterfalls. I walked around Halloway and had coffee and pizza in the downtown area.

Drive to Halifax

I traveled to Halifax in high winds, setup the tent and went to the Halisi Cafe for a few hours. I drove into Halifax for a quick tour and returned to the campsite. A local musician, Jon Cyr, was performing at the campground and I stayed to watch for an hour.

I took a tour of my neighbors teardrop camper. I spend some time at the library / multimedia center and had lunch and coffee there. In the afternoon, I took in the Confederation Art Gallery. There was a late evening Yin yoga glass which I took.

Visit Charlottetown, PEI

The day started off with a wonderful hot yoga class followed by great coffee. I then went to the brand new library to do some planning and writing. I toured the historic part of the city and then returned to the campsite to watch a picturesque view of the river at sunset.

Signal Hill, Jelly Beans, Torbay

I travelled around St. John’s just to get to know the city. A must see is Signal Hill. I toured the small dedication to the first transatlantic wireless transmission. I did the port walk along to get closer to the lighthouse. The Jelly Bean Houses are another must see. I ened with a hike around the cove at Torbay.
